Good Afternoon, Warren Scholars, Families, and Staff,

We have a few important announcements for the week of December 4th. 

It is beginning to look a lot like Indiana Winter. Cold weather and snow have arrived! I would like to remind everyone of our process in the event of inclement weather. In the event that we experience precipitation or temperatures that would create unsafe conditions for students and staff, a decision will be made to either delay the start of school, early release or cancel school for the day. We have put together an inclement weather informational page that can be found on our District website linked here. If your child is in need of a coat, hat, or gloves, please reach out to your school’s Family Engagement Liaison or Teacher. 

MSD Warren Township will be hosting a Teacher Recruitment Night tomorrow,  Thursday, December 5th from 4:30 - 7:00 PM for in-person interviews at the Warren Education and Community Center, 975 North Post Road. No registration is necessary. We will also be hosting virtual interviews on Friday, December 6th. You can sign up by using the attached link. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in a teaching position or other employment, please visit our Human Resources website for current openings. I want to highlight and invite our students, families, and community members to some upcoming Holiday events. 

Pleasant Run Elementary and their PTA will be hosting a HOLIDAY BAZAAR this Saturday, December 7th  from 9 AM - 2 PM at Pleasant Run, 1800 N Franklin Road. This event will put you in the holiday spirit with a Teddy Bear Mobile, Photos with Santa, and over 30 community vendors to get your holiday gifts. 

Join us for The Warren Choirs Holiday Spectacular, sponsored by the Warren Arts & Education Foundation, on December 6th at 7:00 PM at the Warren Performing Arts Center.

This magical evening will feature an Elementary Honor Choir with talented students from Brookview, Eastridge, Grassy Creek, Hawthorne, Lakeside, Lowell, Pleasant Run, and Sunny Heights, performing alongside Warren Central's outstanding choirs.

Tickets are just $8 and can be purchased by visiting the linked website. Don’t miss this incredible holiday celebration!

Don't miss our Band & Orchestra Winter Concerts as well! Our WCHS Winter Orchestra Concert is Wednesday, December 11th at 7 PM and our Warren Central Winter Band Concert will be Thursday, December 12th at 7 PM.  Tickets are $8 and can be purchased here: Orchestra & Band Warren Township staff will be admitted free with their staff ID.
