Warren Students, Families and Staff,
I, Dr. Hanson, Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township, want to first thank everyone for their support, patience, and coming together to make sure that our students, staff, and families are safe during this unprecedented and challenging time. During our school closures, I will be providing a weekly Wednesday call to update our community with new information and guidance.
Starting tomorrow, Thursday, March 19th, we will be expanding our food outreach to 5 district locations, Warren Central High School, Pleasant Run Elementary, Creston, Raymond Park, and Stonybrook Intermediate Middle Schools.
We are also creating 4 community satellite locations for providing grab and go meals. These locations include: Braeburn Village Apartments, Knoll Ridge Apartments, Washington Pointe Apartments, and Shiloh Estates Mobile Home Park. All locations will be open Monday - Friday between 11:00 - 1:00 for each day that our schools are closed, including spring intersession break. Each Friday, additional food will be shared to assist families over the weekend.
If you find yourself in need beyond what is being offered, a District Community Outreach Hotline has been created. You can call 1-317-869-4308 and leave a message with your information. Someone from the district will contact you as soon as possible.
All of this information and additional resources are being shared on our website, our mobile app (under the News section), in our school newsletters, and on our district social media Twitter and Facebook accounts. I encourage you to check these communications on a regular basis.
All of our students, staff and families are in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care of yourself and your loved ones. We will continue to keep you updated as changes come our way.
