Good Evening, this is Mrs. Taylor proud principal of Warren Central High School calling with a few updates and friendly reminders.
Now that we have been in school for a little over a month students are more than aware of the classroom expectations, hallway expectations, and what it means to show Civility, Order, Respect, and Excellence. Please continue to encourage your students to actively participate in their learning and to actively seek out assistance when needed. Tutoring is being offered every Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesdays, buses are available to take students home, and on Thursdays, students will need to provide their own transportation. Additionally, we will start up Super Saturdays this Saturday, September 16th. Students needing extra assistance may attend Saturdays from 10-12 and teachers in CORE subject areas will be there to assist students with completion of assignments and help with key concepts. Please check out the school newsletter and grade level newsletters for more information.
Please mark your calendar for this year's parent-teacher conferences. Conferences will take place on October 5th and October 6th. There will be virtual, in-person, and daytime and evening options to meet with teachers. This will be a great opportunity to connect with teachers and discuss ways that you can work together to support your student. Again, more information will come out closer to the date regarding scheduling.
As always we strive to create a safe learning environment for all students and staff. Please continue to remind students that if they see something, say something. Additionally, students should be in class on time and actively participating in their learning. Cell phones continue to be a distraction for some of our students. We ask that students adhere to the classroom teachers cell phone policy. Students not in adherence are subject to school issued consequences at the discretion of school administration. Again, we thank you for your assistance!
Thank you and have a great evening.
