Warren Central High School

Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School. 

This is a busy week for the city of Indianapolis as the city prepares to host several events leading up to All-Star Weekend. Warren Central is excited to provide our students and community an opportunity to join in some of the festivities. Warren Central will host a Celebrity Charity Basketball Game this Thursday, from 7-9 pm. I am even more excited that discounted tickets will be available for student purchase during lunches leading up to the game. Along with seeing our celebrities and some Warren Alum showcasing their skills, there will be several vendors from the community and throughout Indianapolis showcased. Additionally, please remember that there will be no school on Monday, February 19th, in observance of Presidents Day. There will also be a scheduled eLearning day on Tuesday, February 20th. This will be an asynchronous day for all high school students meaning students will be assigned work they will need to complete at their own pace. Students will not be required to sign in to classes on this day.

Finally, please continue to stress to your student the importance of showing up to school on time every day ready to learn. Attendance matters. Student Engagement Matters.
