Good evening this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School.
First and foremost, I would like to congratulate our class of 2021 graduates, families, caregivers, and friends on an outstanding commencement ceremony. Your success is well-deserved.
As a reminder, summer school will begin tomorrow at 7:15 am. Be sure to charge your Chromebooks to prepare for your classes.
On a final note, beginning on Monday, June 7th the 3-way stop on 18th street by the Natatorium (westside of WCSH) will be closed. Construction will begin on a new round-a-bout that will be completed in late July. Traffic entering campus off 16th street will be able to use lots 4 & 5 for parking and entry to the westside of the HS and Performing Arts Center. To get to the front entrance of the HS and Career Center, visitors and staff should enter campus off Mitthoeffer and 21st street.
Also beginning on June 7th there will be road crews on 16th street working to add accel and decel lanes to the new HS entrances. Expect 1 way controlled traffic during the day. This should take a few days per entrance and be completed by June 19th.
Thank you so much for your time and have a great evening.
