Clubs and school organizations are formed at Raymond Park Intermediate and Middle School as student interest develops. Listed below are current clubs and organizations with a brief description of each one. Students should listen for intercom announcements concerning organizational meetings.
Raymond Park Academic Teams engage our students in academic competition with other Marion County schools. The season is capped by a county-wide tournament for each grade level.
Raymond Park Junior Honor Society (RPJHS) consists of a community of 7th and 8th grade students who excel both in and out of the classroom. These students are invited to be a part of NJHS based on their GPA, leadership skills, and community involvement. The purpose of NJHS is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage good citizenship in the students of Raymond Park Middle School.
Science Olympiad is a science based competition that takes place at the regional, state, and national level. Competitions are comprised of a number of events that require pairs of students to collaborate in the application of science to solve a problem.
Strength and Conditioning Club is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge of weight training/speed development, in progressive stages, in order to excel in respective sporting areas, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and to belong to something beneficial and constructive.
