A Downtown Tribute to Black Excellence

Join a panel of local, young Black authors sharing their experiences as published writers and reading their books for fellow young people at Indy Reads!

This event is open to participants of all ages.

Proceeds from sales at Indy Reads support our English literacy programming for more than 400 adult learners each year.

The Freetown Village singers blend storytelling traditions with songs and spirituals. They have been performing at events across the state since 1988, and have four events coming up in February.

Located in the heart of downtown on the beautiful canal, the History Center offers guests hours of immersive experiences to explore the Hoosier state’s rich and varied history in easy, enjoyable and meaningful ways.
