High Ability Program
MSD Warren Township’s High Ability Program is designed to meet the unique academic needs of our gifted and talented students. As a district, we look at all students in grades 1, 4, 6, and 8 to see if they qualify for the following school year based on our eligibility criteria. All of the criteria information can be found in our MSD Warren Township High Ability Handbook here.
Parent recommendations are also considered along with teacher recommendations when determining placement in high-ability programming.
Program Locations
Elementary high-ability programs are located at Brookview Elementary, Lakeside Elementary, and Lowell Elementary. In grades 5-12, students identified as high ability are placed in the class and/or classes that they qualify for in their home school.
