Welcome to Warren!

My name is Dr. Tim Hanson and I am extremely excited and honored to serve as the MSD Warren Township Superintendent. I have been in the District since 2004 and have been fortunate to serve in a variety of leadership roles; Stonybrook Middle School Assistant Principal, Brookview Elementary Principal, and as an Assistant Superintendent / Deputy Superintendent. The 2023-2024 school year will be my 6th year as Superintendent of Schools. Prior to coming to Warren Township, I was a middle school math teacher in MSD Washington Township, Hamilton Southeastern School District, Ohio and in Illinois.

I hope this message finds each of you well and filled with the energy that a new year brings. As we reflect on our journey together, I am inspired by the collective commitment  and passion that define our resilient community.

One of the foundational pillars of our mission at MSD Warren Township is to provide our students with exceptional learning experiences that prepare them for their Monday after graduation and into their careers. This commitment to college and career readiness remains at the forefront of our educational promise. From innovative programs to personalized learning, developing Journey of a Graduate skills, and providing guaranteed experiences at every grade level, our goal is to equip every student with the necessary tools needed for the ever-evolving challenges of the future.

Our MSD Warren educators play a pivotal role in this mission, and I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to our outstanding MSD Warren staff. Their unwavering investment to develop the whole student, coupled with their passion for building relationships and growing our students, creates an environment where learning becomes not only a priority but also a transformative experience. It's through this investment that our students discover their potential and embrace their journey to a successful future. 

Building strong and productive relationships is another cornerstone of our district's success. In a world filled with constant change, the connections we foster within our school communities create a sense of belonging and support. Our students thrive when they feel connected, valued, understood, and encouraged. It is through these relationships that we can collectively inspire and guide our young people toward fulfilling and purposeful lives.

I encourage each of you to actively participate in the various opportunities that contribute to our shared success. Whether you are a student charting his/her path, a parent supporting your child's educational journey, a member of our dedicated staff, or an involved community partner, your role is integral to the continued growth and prosperity of our schools and our community.
