Indianapolis, IN—Warren Township students are finding joy in reading! Warren Township is thrilled to share the success of the recent KG's Karnival of Books event in partnership with Kylen Granson, tight end for the Indianapolis Colts, and his foundation, KG's Kids. This event has been an ongoing source of joy and literacy for Warren Township Schools since we began our partnership in November.

KG's Kids hosted its signature event, KG's Karnival of Books, across all nine MSD Warren Township Elementary Schools—this initiative aimed to promote literacy and encourage a love for reading among Warren Township students.

The KG's Karnival of Books, a highlight of the KG's Kids Literacy Support System, took place from May 16th to May 21st. Unlike traditional book fairs, this one-of-a-kind experience was a literary adventure for students from kindergarten through fourth grade. They had the thrilling opportunity to select two free books from a wide variety of titles featuring characters and stories that resonated with them. This unique event ensured that every child had new reading material to enjoy over the summer, helping to foster a love for reading.

The event was met with enthusiasm from both students and staff. Each class had a dedicated time slot to browse the book selections, allowing students to choose books based on their interests.
