This is Dr. Tim Hanson, Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township, with an important announcement for in-person students and families in grades 5-12. This message does not impact K-4 students and staff.
Due to a large number of staffing needs, as a result of positive COVID cases and other illnesses in our transportation department, at our Intermediate Middle Schools, and High School, students and staff in grades 5-12 will participate in eLearning tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 7, and Monday, Jan. 10, 2022. Students will access their instructional materials through Canvas and will have access to their teachers at the following times:
5-8 Students : 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
9-12 Students : 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Just a reminder that student attendance and grades will be based on the completion of assignments. Per our eLearning policy, students will have 5 days to submit their eLearning assignments to their teacher.
A grab-and-go lunch will be available at Stonybrook, Creston, Raymond Park, Renaissance, and Warren Central High School between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday and Monday. Students do not need to be present to pick up lunch.
We will continue to provide updates and as much advance notice on changes as possible. I appreciate your patience and flexibility during this challenging time for all of us. Stay safe and healthy!
